The
Whitcombs still live in Thetford Mines.
Thetford
is located three hours from Montreal, an hour from Quebec City, two
hours from the Vermont Border and about 6 hours from Boston.
Our
family, both human and canine has changed over the past few years.
We are fortunate to have a 2 year old granddaughter, Morgan.
Morgan lives in
Florida
with her Mom and our daughter, Jennifer and her Dad Bobby.
Our canine family lost Candy awhile back – a big loss as she
was a major part of our family and contributed greatly to our breeding
program.
Taylor
(MBIS/BISS GCH/ BISS Am Ch. Sapphires & White Diamonds) is
now the Matriarch of the family and will be nine years young this
year.

enjoying retirement – only to be shown at Specialties and Nationals.

Heathers Cat on a Hot Tin Roof is now four years old and just starting
out on her show career. Watch
for her in a ring near you.
The latest addition thrown into the mix is Roulette.
Born in January of 2010 this little munchkin came up from sunny
California
to join her new family at 9 weeks of age. Her registered name is Quiet
Creeks Double or Nothing for Heather. (AKA – The Widget, The Rug Rat).
Hopefully she will see
the show ring sometime over the summer.
She certainly has added lots of excitement to 485 Alfred.
We

CA. Both dogs are owned by
Lyn Sherman and co-owned by yours truly.

lives in
Florida
and is loved by Lynne Lumsden and co-owned by me.

Quiet Creeks Kiss and Tell is owned by Susan Lacroix Hamil.
To most of the world this lovely girl is known as Kiss – but to
me she will always be Smooch.
Smooch also has my name on her as co-breeder and co-owner.
The
last but certainly not the least is the lovely import from
Ireland
. Badgershill East of Eden (
Eve ) was bred by Aine
Dorgan and this lovely liver lady lives with Sherry & Tim Robertson
in CA. I was very pleased
when asked if I would like to co-own Eve.
I think the import of these puppies will be most meaningful to
our breeding program over the years.
Heather’s
Hounds first litter was born in 1993.
Our goal is to produce bloodhounds that are sound in both mind
and body. A bloodhound
should be physically able to go from the show ring to the working mode.
There is only one standard for our breed.
All dogs used in our breeding program have health clearances for
heart (with echo), hips and elbows.
