I hope you have been fortunate to have, in your life, that special "one". The one that comes only once in your lifetime. Well, Mr. Stewie was that special one for me. He was, in my opinion, a perfect example of a friendly giant with a truly regal expression.
Because of Stewie, we are fortunate enough to have several BIS and BISS ribbons proudly displayed. He had two Awards of Merit from the U.S. Nationals, and one from Westminster. He won the Canadian Bloodhound National on two occasions. He has represented our breed from Newfoundland to Florida, and from California to British Columbia - with many stops along the way. He not only presented himself well in the ring, but also has been a fine ambassador for our noble breed. He is Dad and Grandpa and member of the Stud Dog Hall of Fame.
If we have it in us to dream, we have it in us to succeed. Stewie was my friend, my companion, my soul mate and his successes made my dreams come true.
