CAN.AM. CH. QUIET CREEKS TRIUMPH FOR HEATHER

"TRIUMPH"

08/20/99 - 05/10/05

Best of Opposite Sex - 2005 - Canadian Bloodhound National Specialty
Long Sault, Ont.  James Reynolds, judge

Reserve Winners Bitch -2001- US National Bloodhound Specialty - Lake Murray, OK

Triumph (CHIC)  was bred by Susan Hamil and Evelyn Jones and was out of the beautiful Ch. Quiet Creeks Mi Vida Loca   (CHIC) and our own Multi BIS/BISS Can/Am/Int. Ch. Heathers NimRod Stew Unplugged CGC.

Triumph was bred three times.   The first time was to Am/Can Ch. The Nimrods Zippity DoDa Zippyita  (aka Zipper) (CHIC).  The second breeding was to Am Ch. Woeful Savannah’s Matt McGee.(CHIC).     Her third and final time bred was to Multi BIS/BISS Am/Can Ch. Heathers Knock on Wood  CD  (CHIC) Knotty.

These litters produced some lovely puppies.   Many have gone on to accomplish wonderful things in the areas of law enforcement, S&R and conformation.

We ourselves kept a puppy from this litter -  Can/Am Ch. Heather’s Opportunity Knocks  (aka Oprah).   We also co-own a sibling with Tammy Arseneau & Lyn Sherman.   He is a handsome liver boy named Can/Am. Ch. Heathers Tri Knocking First – aka  (Victor”.

These litters produced high energy level dogs who believed they were the “Best of the Best”, an attitude they inherited from their mom and their grandmother.

Triumph was sound and solid.  She had everything necessary to be a ‘kick-butt’ bloodhound bitch as well as to be a great brood bitch.  She was, indeed a wonderful mother.

We lost Triumph to an accident on October 3rd of 2005.  She ingested a foreign object and died of a perforated bowel.

Part of my heart and soul went with her.   Fortunately her legacy lives on.   Oprah is the spitting image of her Mom Triumph.
